Head of Learning & Organisational Development

Our client is the leading Properties group and this role is responsible for the development of longer-term organizational capabilities in HK, Chinese mainland, Miami and SEA:

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for SPROPs learning and development to enable our business strategy and focus.
  • Internal consultant to the business regarding needs related to leadership, organisational effectiveness and
    our culture.
  • Ensure that our training curriculum is world class and aimed at developing current and future capabilities
    needed for our business to succeed.
  • Embed the company’s core values into programme design to ensure our culture is understood and
    embedded in our leadership and way of working.
  • Design, develop and facilitate leadership skills and organisational effectiveness training.
  • Accountable for our frontline and service training strategy, design and execution.
  • Oversee the development of our E-learning strategy, design and execution.
  • Oversee the operations of our training to ensure they are efficient, effective and with a return on
    investment.
  • Talent manage our high performing, high potentials and build pipeline capabilities.
  • Accountable for the design of our talent programmes (e.g. Technical Trainee Programme).
  • Partner with BUs on ad hoc training and development needs.
  • Bring insights from global best practice into our approach to learning and organizational development.
  • Lead, develop and motivate the learning and development team.
  • Oversee and manage the learning and development budget.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Human Resources or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business, and learning and development.
  • Professional qualifications in HR and certified executive coach advantageous.
  • Able to translate business needs into training and development strategy.
  • Skilled in designing and facilitating training.
  • Experience in driving organizational change and shaping the culture.
  • Strong understanding of leadership and organizational development: models, metrics, trends.
  • Experience of successfully planning and delivering a wide range of L&D solutions across an MNC.
  • Strong people leadership skills- able to develop high performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen, stakeholder management and ability to influence.
  • Strong collaborator and culturally sensitive.
